Of the major titles left to release this year, CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is easily the most anticipated. The developer has offered numerous updates over the past few months, from the different Life Paths to the various exotic weapons that the player will wield. Is there a chance it could be delayed again, especially given how many delays have happened already?

It doesn’t seem so. In CD Projekt RED’s recent financial report for the first half of 2020, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz closed by stating, “When we meet again in this format, Cyberpunk 2077 will have already been released.” Technically, while there could be another delay until the fiscal year is up, CD Projekt RED seems committed to the November launch window.

Nielubowicz further asked viewers to tune into more Night City Wire broadcasts. The next episode is slated for September 26th, 2 PM JST as part of Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online though we don’t know what to expect just yet. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently slated to release on November 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC with support for Xbox Series X and PS5 available at launch.
