More Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage was showcased, this time outlining the different types of weapons that players can utilize. There are Tech Weapons, Smart Weapons, Power Weapons, Melee Weapons, Cyberware and much more. Check it out below.

Tech Weapons are similar to more contemporary guns and can ricochet bullets off walls. Power Weapons are capable of firing through walls, punching through solid concrete and killing targets behind them. Smart Weapons are, as the name indicates, capable of tracking foes. So you could fire the bullets in the air and they’ll automatically change direction to hit a target.

Melee weapons like the Thermal Katana are a given but the Cyberware is arguably more interesting. We’ve already seen the Mantis Blades that emerge from one’s arms but you can also have arm cannons that fire explosives. There’s nothing quite like diving in and immediately blowing up enemies.

Much like a traditional RPG, there are different tiers of loot from Common to Legendary. Legendary weapons are noteworthy for having unique perks that make them stand out. Some Legendary weapons may be found on certain NPCs and you’ll need to make a choice whether to kill them or not to get their weapons. In terms of mods, players can expect gun attachments like silencers and chips that increase gun damage, non-lethal rounds, chemical rounds and more.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on November 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. This isn’t the end of Night City Wire until then – Episode 3 will air “soon” as per the developer. Stay tuned for more details and check out a behind the scenes video of Refused becoming the chrome rock band Samurai here.
