Today’s episode of Night City Wire offered plenty of new gameplay and details for CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. One interesting segment focused on Refused, who’s music appears in-game under the chrome rock band Samurai. It’s also the band that Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves in-game, leads.
In a new behind the scenes video, Refused talks about the process of lending their style to the game. Vocalist Dennis Lyxzén also offered his thoughts on singing and changing his enunciation to properly match Silverhand’s antics. Speaking of which, the video also provides slight glimpses of Johnny being playable. Unfortunately, this wasn’t touched upon during the entire episode.
Refused’s new track as Samurai, “A Like Supreme”, is now available so give it a listen below. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently slated to release on November 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC with support for Xbox Series X and PS5 on day one. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months especially with a third episode of Night City Wire confirmed.
