A new trailer is available for CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, showcasing all the accolades the expansion has earned. As the first and only paid expansion for the first-person shooter/RPG, it’s received extensive acclaim from critics – check out what they think below.
Set in Dogtown, Phantom Liberty sees V and Johnny Silverhand tasked with rescuing NUSA president Rosalind Myers. They eventually link up with sleeper agent Solomon Reed and the mysterious Songbird, with V gaining access to new Relic abilities to overwhelm their enemies.
Other activities in the expansion include new courier missions, Airdrops where enemies vie for a valuable loot cache, and Increased Criminal Activity areas, mini-dungeons with high-priority targets. You can check out our review for our thoughts.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is out on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, with three million copies sold in its first week. With development complete, the team is now moving on to Project Orion, the sequel, which recently entered the conceptual stage of development.
