In Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, there are several new quests, Gigs and secrets to discover in the new Dogtown district. You also have new activities like Increased Criminal Activity, indicated by an icon with three skills.

It may seem like a powerful gang guarding an area, but Increased Criminal Activity locations are almost like mini-dungeons or Destiny 2’s Lost Sectors. You’ll enter a location and must wipe out the enemies before taking down the boss. The latter drops a key to loot a nearby chest for powerful gear, clothes, cash and high-tier crafting components. They don’t respawn, unfortunately, so forget about farming them.

There are three Increased Criminal Activity locations in Dogtown, which can be completed during the campaign or in free roam. Here’s how to find them all.

All Increased Criminal Activity Locations

Location #1

Fast travel to Kress Street and go south until you find this location. You’ll see several Barghest hanging outside in an industrial-style area. Kill them or charge past with Sandevistan and go right to enter an underground area. Take the next left to go down a tunnel and emerge in an area where several enemies await. The boss, Ross Ulmer, is also here. Look for a heavily armored enemy and lay into him with damage.

Once his first health segment is gone, he’ll stun you and run away. Follow him through the now-open door, taking heed of the turrets that emerge from above. The ensuing corridor has more turrets, but the tripmines are a bigger worry. Jump over the boxes next to them, and upon reaching a dead end, take the door on the right. Go up the stairs and look around as a strange sound plays. Ulmer will emerge from below in an exoskeleton, wielding an explosive launcher (that doubles as a cutting laser) and a shield. Take him down and pick up the access card and other loot.

Turn around and open the shutter on your right to access the loot stash.

Location #2

Head to the east-most edge of Dogtown and look for a massive building with two gang members talking outside. Kill or dodge them and run straight underneath the stairs to an open door. Take a right and keep running straight until the health bar for the boss, Ayo Zarin appears. You’ll arrive in a giant hall full of enemies. Zarin will rush to attack you up close. Be warned – she can dodge some of your bullets and move incredibly quickly. Take out the enemies in the rafters beforehand to minimize the damage received.

Like with Ulmer, Zarin will stun you, this time with a blinding flash and run away. She won’t venture to another area, instead electing to rush around the hall as more minions pour in. Take to the high ground since the water is electrified, take out her goons and eventually, Zarin will fall. Upon obtaining her Access Card, follow the objective marker to the loot stash.

Location #3

Found in the southeast part of Dogtown, this Increased Criminal Activity is hard to miss due to the giant space shuttle model over the location. As usual, look for two members hanging out near an entrance and kill or avoid them. Several enemies will fire from all directions, so take them out. Sooner or later, the boss will emerge, and it’s a Modified Arasaka MRS-071 Drone. Though it will flash to stun you, it won’t run. Keep shooting its red eye until it dies.

You won’t need an Access Card from its remains. Instead, go to the objective marker, up the right-most escalator, to access the loot stash.
