CD Projekt RED’s Night City Wire for Cyberpunk 2077 is underway, showcasing the various antics that V and his friend Jackie get up to. The trailer covers the prologue, teasing the quests and violent incidents that the duo get up to. Check it out below.

The story seems to focus on V and Jackie getting their hands on an “immortality chip”. It seems to involve robbing Arasaka, one of the more powerful megacorporations of the future. Despite doing the job for Dex, things quickly go awry. It’s then that Johnny Silverhand makes an appearance and this seems to be the setup for how he and V are stuck together.

We also get a brief look at the Badlands, a wide desolate region on the outskirts of Night City, and some new vehicles. The fully mechanized Adam Smasher also appears briefly and comes across as extremely menacing. Cyberpunk 2077 is out on November 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will be playable on Xbox Series X and PS5 from day one.
