Daemon X Machina is soon going to be here, and it’s looking to deliver on the robot on robot action we look for in this type of genre. Between the well-designed robots and pilots, it’s going to be a treat for mecha fans who’ve been hungry for a good while. Also true to form is that the game gets its own animation.

The genre has often gone hand in hand with its anime counterparts like Gundam. Today, Marvelous released a brief short. The animation takes place before the events of the game. As of now there’s no English version either dubbed or subbed, but you can see a lot of fun action and how the designs for the robots translate to animation. Check it out below.

Daemon X Machina will release September 13th exclusively for Nintendo Switch. To get an idea of the combat and customization you can expect from the game, you can look through here.
