Namco Bandai has finally revealed the system requirements for the PC version of From Software’s Dark Souls 2 – and they’re actually pretty amiable considering the generation we’re in. You can check them out below:
Minimum Requirements:
Operating System: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8
CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.2 GHz or Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo E8500 3.17 GHz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 9600GT, ATI Radeon HD 5870
Hard Drive: 8 GB
Sound Card: Compatible with DirectX 9.0C or higher
Recommended Requirements:
Operating System: Windows 7 SP1
CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 3.10 GHz or AMD A8 3870K 3.0 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 or higher, ATI Radeon HD 6870 or higher
Hard Drive: 8 GB

It’s been specified that you’ll need an internet connection to verify the game and play online with multiplayer. For the most part, the requirements aren’t bad at all and even users with modest systems shouldn’t have a problem running the game at its Recommended settings.
Dark Souls 2 will be releasing on March 11th for North America and March 14th for Europe on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version has meanwhile been delayed to an April 25th release.
