Darksiders 3 is looking pretty solid in terms of its design and the approach its taking to its gameplay from what we’ve seen so far, from its boss battles to how it balances combat and exploration. On that front, fans of the series have plenty to be excited about. But how does it fare in the technical department?

We recently conducted an interview with Gunfire Games’ Business & Product Development Director Reinhard Pollice, and we asked him how the game will fare on the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro, and though he didn’t go into specifics, he did mention that the game will be “enhanced”, and will be using dynamic resolution scaling.

“It’s definitely enhanced,” Pollice told GamingBolt. “We have a dynamic resolution scaling feature so the game is smooth all the time.”

Interestingly enough, he also mentioned that the game’s PS4 Pro version’s specs will be a bit below its Xbox One X counterpart – which is usually the case with most games, actually, given the Xbox One X’s superior hardware – but also mentioned that the difference will be “barely noticeable”, and that the game will look “similarly nice” on Sony’s enhanced console.

Darksiders 3 launches for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 27. Stay tuned for our full interview on Darksiders 3 in the coming days.
