Darksiders Genesis

The Darksiders franchise is taking a bit of a detour later this year when Darksiders Genesis hits the shelves. You’ll follow Strife, in his playable debut, and War has they fight through hordes in a top down style action game. It looks like it’ll be a pretty lengthy side story according to the developer.

Airship Syndicate is on development duty for Genesis and in talking to Escapist Magazine, Design Director Steve Madureira confirmed that the game would have 11 stages, each with a more arcade-like feel as opposed to more action and adventure feel of the mainline games. Those levels will include five bosses and take roughly 15 hours to complete.

Darksiders Genesis will release for PC and Stadia on December 5th, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch versions coming February 14th 2020. To check out the PC requirements, check through here, and you can also look at the game’s first 16 minutes to see how the game plays.
