Days Gone’s zombie Freaker post-apocalypse will be getting even more content to attract players very soon (you know, in case you got bored of the golf cart). Developers SIE Bend Studio have announced on the official PlayStation blog that the open world action-adventure title is getting new trophies, new difficulty options, and a New Game Plus option on September 13.

New Game Plus will function how you’d expect it to. Weapons, bike upgrades, NERO boosters, skills, recipes, encampment trust, collectibles, credits, and Trophies from a previous playthrough will carry over into a new one. New Game Plus can be played on any difficulty option. Speaking of difficulty options, there’s two new ones coming as well. These are Hard II and Survival II.

SIE Bend Studio is also adding thirteen new Trophies to the game, related to New Game Plus and the new difficulty settings. One of these new Trophies is related to “a mysterious new weapon from an agent that only operates in the shadows.”

Days Gone is out exclusively for the PS4. Though it received less-than-stellar reviews at launch, the game has performed very well from a commercial standpoint. Doubtless, Bend’s continued post-launch support for the title has plenty to do with that- let’s hope it continues.
