Days Gone Is Sony Bend’s New IP

Looks a lot like The Last of Us.

days gone

Sony are taking no prisoners. They followed up the opening of the show with Sony Bend’s new PlayStation 4 IP- it seems to be a post apocalyptic game, in the vein of a Fallout, but it also seems to be emphasizing its characters and character interactions, in the wake of The Last of Us. It could go either way, but it definitely looked intriguing.

In a lot of ways, it recalls The Last of Us, and it will be interesting to see what Sony Bend can do to step out of that game’s shadow. At the very least it seems like it would be a good game regardless- though in the absence of actual gameplay footage shown, or any concrete details beyond an announcement trailer, it’s hard to say, naturally.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the latest and greatest information from Sony’s E3 press conference, ongoing right now, and from E3 in general.
