For the past few years, Sony’s release pattern has seen them launching a major PS4 exclusive in the first half of the year, and so far, that’s been going very well for them. Ratchet and Clank in 2016, Horizon: Zero Dawn in 2017, and God of War in 2018 all launched to great reviews, and ended up selling very well.

This year, it’s going to be SIE Bend Studio’s post-apocalyptic open world title, Days Gone. Can it keep that streak going? Apparently, we’ll have to wait until a day before the game’s release before we find out whether it follows in the steps of the aforementioned successes. As TheSixthAxis confirms, Days Gone reviews will go live on April 25, with the embargo lifting on 5:01 AM PDT.

Days Gone itself launches on April 26 for the PS4. Recently, a video explained and showed off all the skills in the game that players will be able to unlock, while we’ve also been able to get some interesting details about the many, many Freaker hordes that will occupy the game’s world. You can get more info through the links. Meanwhile, check out the game’s  latest TV spot, which highlights the game’s harsh world, through here.
