Dead or Alive 6 Diego

Dead or Alive 6 was announced back in June, and it looks like the game will be taking a more serious approach compared to some previous entries in the series. Now, two new playable fighters have been announced by Team Ninja and Koei-Tecmo. One of them is a new fighter, who goes by the name Diego, while the other is a returning fighter Rig, whom we’ve seen before. An introductory trailer for Diego and a gameplay video in which Diego and Rig go up against each other have also been released, courtesy of IGN. You can view both these videos below.

Diego is a hard-hitting fighter using full-body moves. His backstory is that he entered street fighting to get money to help his sick mother, and he soon earned the title “uncrowned street hero.” As for Rig, he retains his fighting style with kick-based attacks, but he will now also be more acrobatic in battle. Rig is a taekwondo master, and he was an antagonist in Dead or Alive 5.

You can check out Diego’s trailer and screenshots below, along with a gameplay video of Diego and Rig fighting each other. Dead or Alive 6 launches in March 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One.
