Dead Cells is having quite the run. It was just in March when the game was announced to have passed the million sales mark, and now it’s done it again in half the time, as the game has now surpassed 2 million units in sales. For an entirely independent production, that’s flying pretty high, especially since the game has yet to hit that key mobile market. Along with that announcement comes a discount for those who haven’t jumped in yet, as well as the new expansion’s release.
To celebrate the milestone, the game is available for 20% off across all console versions now. In addition, the Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game also got the free DLC expansion, Rise of the Giant, for those who have already purchased the game. We knew the Switch version was due out today already, so PS4 users got an extra surprise.
Dead Cells is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Rise of the Giant is also live now for all versions except the Xbox One, which is said to be coming soon.
