Perfect Dark

Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark (Gameboy Colour), Perfect Dark Zero

The first Perfect Dark game on the N64 was a classic. It was nothing short of a masterpiece. Being one of the only shooters that gen, along with Goldeneye 007 and Medal of Honor, to be actually worthy enough for a purchase on a console, it immediately became a fan favourite, and was loved by one and all. Perfect Dark is, till this very day, considered to be a wonderful game, one that many games follow. Although later Perfect Dark games were not quite up to the mark, and were very disappointing, the franchise still holds a special place in all our hearts. Hopefully, Rare will come back to its days of glory, and deliver us with the Perfect Dark game we have been waiting for so long.

Killer Instinct

Killer Instinct, Killer Instinct 2

Killer Instinct was released for the Super Nintendo and the Gameboy, and it immediately met with rave response. Becoming a highly acclaimed game, and a success commercially, it gave birth to a sequel, Killer Instinct 2, which turned out to be equally good, if not better, and leter Killer Instinct Gold, the N64 version of KI2. Killer Instinct is widely regarded as a gem of a fighter franchises, and fans have been literally pleading for a revival of the series. It was rumoured that a KI3 would be announced at this year’s E3, but it wasn’t. Well, we’ll be waiting. You can keep us waiting as long as you want, Nintendo. Just give us another Killer Instinct title.

F-Zero

[HTML6]

F-Zero, F-Zero X, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, F-Zero GX, F-Zero GP Legend, F-Zero Climax

While the last F-Zero game was released as recently as 2004, we have received no sign from Nintendo that they intend to carry on with this fantastic series. The thrill, the excitement, the racing action high on testosterone, it’s all their in F-Zero- one of the greatest racing franchises ever. Many new franchises, like WipeOut, have tried to imitate F-Zero’s sense of speed and adrenaline, but none have been able to match up to it’s sheer finesse, and its level of quality, and its fresh feeling. Even though we fans still pick up our decade old systems time and again just to have the experience of playing an F-Zero game once again, it would be nice if Nintendo releases an F-Zero title on either of their current consoles. It would be great if it was on the 3DS.
