Dead Island 2 has over a hundred collectibles to be sought out or bought from vendors. While you may stumble across some of them over the normal course of the game, a good many are stashed away in Lockboxes or awarded at the end of optional Side Quests. Mod Blueprints
These Blueprint Collectibles are necessary to add elemental damage mods to a weapon at a Workbench, as well as raise its Power Rating. Each elemental mod comes in two variants: Ranged and Melee, and three rarities: Uncommon, Rare, and Superior.

Curveballs
Essentially your throwable class of weapons, Curveballs are equipable separately and can be slotted-in two at a time. Whether bought, sought, or unlocked, this is how you acquire all thirteen Curveballs.
Meat Bait
A zombie lure, primarily for lower tier varieties.
Get for free from Trader Carlos at Emma’s House in Bel-Air.
Shuriken
Throwing stars that are flung in threes and are great for dismembering zombies
Right outside the Halperin Hotel lodged in a car door in plain sight.
Chem Bomb
Basically a throwable fire suppressant that can be used to douse fires and flaming zombies.
Unmissable during the course of the “Room Service For Major Booker” Story Quest in the Halperin Hotel.
Pipe Bomb
Your first explosive throwable has a timed fuse and is relatively low-tier compared to later Curveballs.
In a case near the checkpoint between Monarch Studios and Beverly Hills.
Electric Star
Throwing star variant that does Shock Damage and applies the Electrified debuff.
Embedded in a sign on the fence at the Brentwood Water Reclamation Project plant in Beverly Hills.
Caustic-X Bomb
Bounces like the Pipe Bomb before exploding and dealing Caustic Damage and applying the Melting debuff.
Can be earned as a reward by completing “The Rav-ages Of Caustic-X” Side Quest in the Halperin Hotel.
Molotov Cocktail
Just a bottle of fuel with a rag for a wick, this will ignite most zombies dealing Fire Damage and applying the Ignited debuff.
Pick it up off of a table in the Filtration Access and Servicing area in the Brentwood Sewer.
Electric Bomb
Explodes into a charged bubble of electricity, dealing Shock Damage and applying the Electrified debuff.
Can be earned as a reward by completing the “Jo’s Rainy Day Stash” Lost & Found Quest in Venice Beach.
Flashbang
Applies the Traumatized debuff on zombies caught in its explosive blast radius.
Buy for $2,500 from Trader Rodriguez at The Tower, but only after completing the “Cremains Of The Day” Side Quest in Venice Beach.
Sticky Bomb
Toss this at zombies and it will stick to them before exploding a few seconds later. If thrown at the environment, it can function as a proximity mine, but will automatically explode eventually regardless.

Military Grenade
Your standard grenade does what you expect it to do on impact.
Can be earned as a reward by completing the “Boz Makes A Bang” Side Quest in Monarch Studios.
Nail Bomb
This explosive serves to deal Bleed Damage to all zombies caught in its blast radius and applies the Bleeding debuff as well.
Buy for $1,500 from Ezekiel in the Lifeguard HQ at The Pier.
Bait Bomb
Essentially a Pipe Bomb wrapped up in Meat Bait, this will lure zombies to it before exploding.
Buy for $3,500 from Trader Dougie at the Serling Hotel, but only after completing the “The Search For Truth” Story Quest on Ocean Avenue.
