After a list of Trophies emerged for Dead Rising yesterday, prompting speculation of the game re-releasing for PS4, Capcom revealed to Eurogamer that it was indeed bringing the first game to Sony’s console. But that’s not all.
Dead Rising will also be heading to PC and Xbox One while Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off The Record (which featured the return of Frank West) release on Xbox One and PS4. Capcom noted that, “We will have more news to share soon.”
“More news” may be details on whether these games are simple ports with improved resolutions and frame rates or remasters with extensive reworking on textures and character models. Maybe something in between?
Dead Rising 4 will be out this year as well for Xbox One and Windows 10, releasing during the Holiday season and seeing West as a protagonist after many years. Thoughts on all this Dead Rising? Let us know in the comments below.
