Dead Rising 3 Video Documentary Short Released

An inside look into making the game.

This past weekend, a short video documentary detailing the development and game play of the upcoming Dead Rising 3 was released.

According to the Capcom development team, this Xbox One-exclusive release will expound upon the uniquely inventive and graphic game plays style of the first two Dead Rising installments, with enhanced focus on differing types of Zombies, as well as new and inventive possibilities when it comes to killing them.

As stated in the video, the developers want to make the experience of killing hordes of zombies as interactive as possible, allowing the player to take almost any item in the environment and use it as a weapon in a myriad of different ways.

The world in Dead Rising 3, thanks to the capabilities of the Xbox One, will be larger than the environments of the previous two Dead Rising games combined. Couple that with Dead Rising 3’s full-stream, no load-times promise (one of the most aggravating aspects in previous Dead Rising games), and we have a very exciting prospect of a game on our hands.

Dead Rising 3 releases exclusively for Xbox One in November 2013.
