Capcom had revealed that Dead Rising 3 would be an open world title, and while it may be going for a more action-oriented approach, it seems that they’re serious about making this game far bigger than previous releases. The Financial Times actually posted the world map, which you can view below.

And yes, Capcom Vancouver has already confirmed that the world of Dead Rising 3 is far, far bigger than the original games in the sense that you could take both the shopping mall and city from Dead Rising 1 and Dead Rising 2 and effectively fit them into Los Perdidos several times.

The open world gameplay is further emphasized by allowing you to scavenge materials and weapons to defend yourself, not including the vehicles that you can build to murder crowds of zombies at once, Dawn of the Dead-style. Dead Rising 3 releases for the Xbox One when the console launches worldwide on November 22nd.
