Dead Rising 4

Dead Rising 4 is due to launch later this year on the Xbox One and on PC, and today at Gamescom, we got to see more of the latest installment in Capcom’s stylish zombie action franchise. The new footage (via Gematsu) shows us hordes and hordes of zombies milling around the player and overwhelming them.

It looks a bit rough, sure- but remember, the game isn’t out for a few months still (and the series hasn’t necessarily been a looker for a while now- even 2013’s Dead Rising 3 was a pretty ugly game, all things considered). The part that really matters, the actual gameplay, looks fun to me still, and it should appeal to fans of the series definitely.

Dead Rising 4 will launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs in December, with a release for other PCs coming a month afterwards. It has been hinted that the game may be made available for other consoles later, but of course, for now, if you want to play Dead Rising 4 on a console, the Xbox One remains your only bet.
