Dead Rising 4 Co-Op Revealed as Separate Mode

Four players supported.

Dead Rising 4

Capcom’s Dead Rising 4 will have four-player co-op but much like the Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition Ex Alpha Plus DLC for Dead Rising 3, it will be a separate mode (as confirmed on Twitch). IGN has footage of the co-op mode which you can check out below.

There will be a few characters from the campaign to choose and bosses to battle. All the crazy weapons and Exo Suits from the campaign can also be utilized to wreck havoc on foes. As it stands, the co-op looks fun but many players wanted some form of campaign co-op as well. It also begs the question – will this be the only online mode for Dead Rising 4 or will there be the previously reported mode that challenges players with the old-school timer?

Dead Rising 4 is out on December 6th for Windows 10 and Xbox One so we’ll find out then itself. What are your thoughts on the co-op multiplayer? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
