Dead Rising 4 Criticism Addressed by Capcom

Capcom isn't giving up on it though.

Capcom’s Dead Rising 4 wasn’t quite the blockbuster many envisioned it to be, especially since it was one of the few Xbox One exclusives Microsoft could lay claim to.

During an investor Q&A, Capcom addressed the fact that the open world title didn’t get “more distinguished reviews” and that the more “approachable” style of the game didn’t gel with everyone.

“Compared to the series up to now, this game was made more approachable in order to allow a wider audience to enjoy it. However, there was a wider range of opinions for the new game. Moving forward, we intend to grow unit sales on a continuous basis by releasing additional digital download content while implementing updates for improvements.”

Dead Rising 4 has received free updates since then which add more costumes and harder difficulties. What are your thoughts on the game? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
