Capcom has announced that the protagonist of the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster—Frank West—will be voiced by Jas Patrick. It was previously confirmed that Terence J. Rotolo, the original voice of Frank West, wouldn’t be reprising his role.

Speaking with IGN in an interview, the team behind Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster stated that it was “pleased with the work he’s done for this project.”

Patrick has offered his voice for quite a few projects over the years, ranging from Partitio in Octopath Traveler 2, to several anime productions, including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and the 2023 version of Rurouni Kenshin.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster was announced back in June. It is slated to be a comprehensive enhanced re-release of the original Dead Rising, and will feature updated visuals, as well as new voice work done for a variety of characters.

The game will also allow players to switch between various control schemes, including the classic controls from the original release, alongside more standardized controls, as seen in modern third-person action games.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on September 19. The game will also be getting a physical release on consoles on November 8.
