Dead Space 3 environments

Does this qualify as spoilers? Well, if you want to be surprised (or horrified) at just what horrors you’ll be facing when Visceral Games releases Dead Space 3 for Xbox 360, PC and PS3 on February 5th 2013 in North America, then yes, spoilers.

But for everyone else, here’s a small taste of the bosses you’ll be facing in the game (via Dead Space’s Facebook page). Some advice: Save your ammo. You’re gonna need it.

One of the shots, which shows Isaac seemingly immersed in a boss’s innards, comes with the description “Into the Pit of the Nexus”. Everything else appears to be insect in origin, and twice as creepy as a result.

Either way, you can bet that there will be plenty to keep Isaac blasting away. With co-op, weapon crafting and multiple combat suits, Dead Space 3 will be more action oriented than its predecessors though nonetheless horrifying. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
