Visceral Games has released a new short trailer for Dead Space 3, showcasing one of the alternative armours that Isaac Clarke can use while battling Necromorphs at sub-zero temperatures: Mass Effect’s N7 Armour.

The immediate benefits and abilities of the armour weren’t immediately apparent from the trailer, but damn does it look snazzy. The armour is available in two variants – black and crimson – and mix the aesthetics of Dead Space quite well with Mass Effect.

To access the armour, players need to possess a copy of Mass Effect 3 when they pick up Dead Space 3. The exact process hasn’t been outlined so we’ll have more details for you in the coming days.

Dead Space 3 is currently scheduled to release on February 5th in North America and 8th in Europe for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It continues the story of Isaac Clarke, as he battles to destroy the Markers and end the Necromorph threat forever.
