Motive Studio has reiterated that its upcoming remake of cult classic horror game Dead Space will include the New Game Plus feature at launch. Taking to Twitter, the studio also revealed that the mode will feature a secret ending, as well as new Phantom variant Necromorphs and a Level 6 Advanced Suit.

The studio hasn’t really revealed what the new secret ending will entail, however, while details about the new variant of Necromorphs will likely only be available once the game is actually released.

Earlier this week, Motive Studio went into detail about the integration of DualSense features in Dead Space. The game is set to make use of the controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback on the PS5.

For example, the Plasma Cutter will make use of haptic feedback with every shot, as well as tension and pushback when trying to pull the trigger. Even the controller’s speakers will be used for in-game audio effects, including for picking up items and refilling stasis energy, among other things.

Dead Space is slated to hit store shelves on January 27, and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
