One aspect of Death Stranding that’s been emphasized ever since it was announced from Director and Creator Hideo Kojima was that the game was about connection. He even says he hopes that connection made people feel happy. But the game definitely has a creepy side and is filled with moments dripping in weirdness and dread. Even though the game has been out over a month now, we got a new trailer focused on that aspect of the bizarre game.

The trailer is called Thriller Short and puts highlights on moments in the game that veer more towards the horror side of things. It highlights some of the encounters with the ghost-like BTs and some of the wild run ins you have with Cliff, one of the reoccurring enemies in the game. You can check it out below.

Death Stranding is a bizarre game, but one that’s garnered a lot of praise from places outside the typical gaming arena. The game is available now for PlayStation 4 and will release on PC sometime in 2020. It also just released a new patch focusing on quality of life issues such as subtitle text size.
