Death Stranding Gets One Last Patch Before Launch

The last update before the game hits shelves.

Death Stranding is almost here. In just one more day (or a few hours, depending on the region you’re in), the long awaited games will finally be in the hands of players and fans. The game follows Sam as he tries to reconnect a broken America. His journey will also be a stable one, as the game has been getting multiple updates before launch, with one last one coming today.

Due to the fact that review copies went out very early, the game has already had some fairly big updates. The newest one is fairly small and doesn’t have a lot of specific details, with the patch notes only saying it has various performance issues and multiple problem fixes. So, whatever all that means. Either way, those getting the game at launch will have the newest version of the game.

Death Stranding will release November 8th for PlayStation 4 with the 1.04 update being live at launch. There’s a special stream counting down to the game’s release tonight as well, which you can read more about through here.
