Last week, we reported that Hideo Kojima was going to be present at this year’s Brazil Game show, and as such, we understandably got quite excited about what we might be hearing about the upcoming Death Stranding. As it turns out, the game had quite a weak showing at the game show- in that it didn’t. It didn’t have a showing at all. Hideo Kojima was indeed present during the show, but Death Stranding wasn’t even mentioned.

During the show, Kojima received a lifetime achievement award, which he was handed by a fan who won the most Twitter mentions as part of a contest that had been organized. Other than that, Kojima spent the rest of the show about an action figure for Ludens, the mascot of Kojima Productions, publicizing their availability in stores.

So no, we heard or saw nothing new of Death Stranding, which means that we still know very, very little about the game. Regardless, stay tuned to GamingBolt and we’ll keep bringing you more updates whenever we can.
