Death Stranding is already a heavily star-studded game, with the likes of Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro all playing characters in the upcoming Hideo Kojima-directed game. And as such, reports and rumours have been linking a lot of other actors with the game as well.

One such rumour links the La La Land actress Emma Stone with the game. In fact, at a recent Comic Con event, when Mikkelsen was asked if that rumour was true, he refused to confirm or deny anything, but did say that he thought that that was a “lovely rumour”.

In one of our earlier reports that covered the same topic, we mentioned how Kojima has been hinting at a new actress being signed up to play a major role in Death Stranding, and how it might be Emma Stone. We pieced together several facts, such as the one we just spoke about and the fact that Kojima himself is a fan of Emma Stone, and all things seem to suggest that the popular actress may indeed be involved. In fact, retweets by official Twitter pages of Mads Mikkelsen and Hideo Kojima both seem to suggest that that may be true as well.

It seems like Kojima’s latest Twitter activity, wherein he has retweeted something that seems to indicate Stone’s involvement, seems to solidify the possibility that the actress may indeed be involved. What do you think? Is there any truth to the rumours that Emma Stone may be involved in Death Stranding?

Recent rumours also linked Stefani Joosten, who played Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, with the upcoming Hideo Kojima game. Read about it here.
