Capcom’s Deep Down is still yet to release in Japan but it could be coming closer to the same. Details on a public beta are scheduled for July according to producer Kazunori Sugiura on Twitter (translated by NeoGAF).

“Details on the public beta test are likely to come in July. There’s no excuse, as everyone was looking forward to the information. Rather than development circumstances, we’re discussing with the higher ups the policies for the beta test.

“As an apology, I’m attaching a screenshot of the game in development. It’s a dungeon themed after the emotion of Anger. I will report again in July.”

The screenshot is the one above. To clarify, details for the beta could very well arrive by July end. This means that the game could eventually be out in September for Japan when all is said and done. Deep Down is still yet to receive any information regarding a North American/European release but stay tuned for more information.
