Deep Down PS4 Trailer Features Fair Maidens Demanding to be Rescued

Also looks like Dark Souls.

“Demand” may be too strong of a word but the female characters in Capcom’s multiplayer RPG Deep Down aren’t exactly rescuing themselves. At least there’s plenty of compelling action in the game’s newest trailer which only serves to look more and more like Dark Souls. Check it out above.

Deep Down takes place in the year 2094 but isn’t centred on a post-apocalyptic Earth thrown back into the Middle Ages. Instead, players will be able to travel medieval dungeons using VR equipment from the comfort of their apartment in New York in order to battle, loot treasure and fight horrendous monsters. The game will be free to play, which is a bonus, but is currently only planned to release in Japan. It runs on Capcom’s new Panta Rhei engine in case you were wondering how it looks so snazzy.

Still to receive a final release date, Deep Down will apparently be out later this year.
