Deep Down TGS 2014 Trailer Re-Debuts the Dragon

Along with some new enemies.

Capcom’s Deep Down received a new trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2014 and not only did we get to see some gameplay, but the dragon from the first reveal trailer made an appearance. Because it’s a dungeon crawler and dungeons have dragons (or they’re supposed to). At least there’s some new enemies to see this time around. Check it out above.

Deep Down will be receiving a beta in Japan this year for the PlayStation 4 but Capcom has yet to reveal a Western release date. Unlike, say, Bloodborne, Deep Down is an online multiplayer dungeon crawler which actually takes place in a virtual reality of sorts. You’ll collect different artifacts based on memories of emotions like hate and sorrow, and the dungeons are based on the same.

Using Capcom’s new Panta Rhei engine, Deep Down doesn’t even have a fixed release date for this year. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
