Destiny 2 Beta Content Includes Homecoming, Inverted Spire Strike

PvP content yet to be confirmed.

Bungie has already confirmed that Destiny 2’s beta will start on July 21st, 10 AM PT for general Xbox One and PS4 users while PC users get a shot in “late August”. We also know that PS4 pre-orders get access on July 18th while Xbox One pre-orders start on July 19th. The beta is otherwise open and doesn’t necessitate pre-ordering.

However, we now know what the beta will contain. Along with the Inverted Spire strike that you’ve been seeing footage of since the game was first revealed, there will be the first story mission “Homecoming”.

Furthermore, there will be three subclasses to try out – Arcstrider, Dawnblade and Sentinel. Interestingly, the PvP content hasn’t been confirmed but it will probably be Countdown on maps we’ve seen already. Bungie could surprise us though.

Destiny 2 is out on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4. PC users get it on October 24th. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know below.
