Destiny 2 Beyond Light

Bungie kicked off its latest stream talking about the future of Destiny 2 with the announcement of Beyond Light. This new expansion will see players traveling to Europa and meeting Eris Morn, The Drifter and The Exo Stranger. Yes, that Exo Stranger. Check out the trailer below.

Players will be fighting against Eramis, the Fallen Kell of Darkness this time. In order to stop the enormous empire she’s created, players will utilize the power of Darkness. This manifests as a new Element, called Stasis, and different powers and abilities that can be used. These range from slowing fields to destructive energy.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will release on September 22nd for Xbox One, PS4, PC. Interestingly, this will be the first expansion releasing for Xbox Series X and PS5 with the game running at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Inter-generational cross-platform play, where those on PS4 can play with PS5 owners, is also being promised. Stay tuned for more details on other announcements shortly.
