Destiny 2 Beyond Light_04

Bungie’s Destiny franchise has a number of characters but it’s safe to say that Variks is one of its most memorable. Originally in charge of the Prison of Elders in House of Wolves, the House of Judgment head would help Uldren Sov escape in Forsaken. Now he’s on Europa in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, allying with the Guardians once more.

A new character spotlight trailer focuses on Variks, who may not necessarily be the most trustworthy of allies. Of course, this goes both ways as even Eramis, the Kell of the House of Darkness, has her own share of issues with him. You can see some of their interactions from the recent story trailer here.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is out on November 10th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. It will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 in December with current gen players receiving a free upgrade that carries over all content. Stay tuned for more details and other spotlight trailers in the coming weeks.
