Destiny 2 Confirmed for PC Release – Rumour

At least according to reliable sources.

Destiny 2 (4)

Bungie’s Destiny has been an interesting series of ups and downs since its release with Rise of Iron not quite doing much to fill the void. Destiny 2 is likely to be the developer’s redemption, especially with some of the rumoured information that’s come out (larger worlds, more quests and whatnot). It was also rumoured for PC.

It now seems that the PC release is confirmed, at least according to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier (who’s been an excellent source for Destiny in the past several years) on Twitter.

Responding to someone pointing out a job listing at Bungie for testers with experience on numerous platforms, Schreier noted, “It’s not on 360/PS3 so that job listing doesn’t say much. But I can confirm it’ll be on PC!”

The question is: Will it finally fix many of the problems that have been plaguing Destiny since the beginning? We’ll find out in the coming year so stay tuned. It’s going to be a long wait.
