Destiny 2 Crimson Days Icons, Potential Activities Datamined – Rumour

Crimson Doubles could be making a return along with new Eververse-related loot.

Following the disastrous Dawning event which saw the community up in arms about Eververse, Destiny 2’s next event could be Crimson Days. This is a time limited event from the Destiny 1 era which introduced the Crimson Doubles PvP playlist.

Reddit user Ginsor datamined some scripts and icons from the client package on PC and they seem to indicate a new range of Ghost Shells, Sparrows, Shaders, Exotic Ornaments and tasks spread across various activities (including raids). Crimson Doubles is also returning.

As it currently seems, the files were in the PC client before The Dawning’s release so given the harsh feedback behind the latter, there could be changes. At the very least, there’s no armour locked behind the Eververse this time around but then again, there could be no event-specific armour as well. Take this all with a grain of salt for now and wait for Bungie’s official blog post on January 11th for more information.
