Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris

Bungie’s latest stream on Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris concluded recently and the developer shared some new information on what players can expect when the expansion releases on December 5th.

As noted previously, the expansion takes place on a new zone Mercury. A new public event called the Vex Crossroads was showcased where players battled Gatekeepers, used their keeys to unlock other “islands” and finally battled a Gate Lord in the middle. The reward for completing the event, especially at Heroic, is two Mercury Tokens and a Rare item. Yes, seriously.

The Infinite Forest was also showcased and it consists of a random arrangement of level pieces with different enemies. All the enemy races are present here and players can embark on Adventures in this area as well. One such Adventure called The Up and Up focused on platforming as players traveled to the future. Specific Adventures now have Milestones and your reward for completing an Adventure is also two Mercury Tokens and a Rare item.

We’ll have more information on Curse of Osiris shortly but Bungie has another livestream scheduled for next week to discuss weapon balance so stay tuned.
