Recently, Bungie’s Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris debuted its very first raid lair called Eater of Worlds. This is a smaller wing of content that takes place in the Leviathan and sees players venturing into the Underbelly to solve a bunch of puzzles, fight some Cabal and hopefully obtain some new loot.
The raid lair went live yesterday but has actually been beaten first by a group comprised of random Reddit players. Bungie acknowledged the group’s World First clear on Twitter. As for the raid lair itself, there are new weapons, a new shader and plenty of new Tokens to earn. Also, despite the raid lair being much shorter than the Leviathan, feedback seems to be positive overall especially with regards to the end boss.
This isn’t the end of it for Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris players though. Along with Prestige mode, it’s expected that Bungie will add challenges to the Eater of Worlds raid lair as well. Unlock with Leviathan, you can actually earn ornaments for raid gear by completing Prestige mode.
Congratulations to the World First Fireteam to emerge victorious from the Eater of Worlds Raid Lair.
