Destiny 2 Eververse

Over the past few months, Bungie has been under fire for a number of issues regarding Destiny 2. Whether it was the disappointing Curse of Osiris, numerous bugs that it would be looking into only after the holidays or the sheer amount of content locked behind Eververse, fans are far from happy. The outrage over Eververse has actually spurred a movement on the Bungie forums called “#RemoveEververse”.

While many believe that Bungie will simply ignore their concerns, stand-in community manager dmg04 stated that feedback was being heard and that the developer has no desire to turn a blind eye to the problem.

“Your feedback concerning Eververse is indeed heard, and we have no plans of ignoring it. We’ve been receiving some questions and concerns from players who believe we may be turning a blind eye to this issue, or that we may be looking to remove the feedback in question from our forums. I can say that we have no plans of doing this.”

On Twitter, dmg04 went even further to say that the studio will never ignore its fans or silence their feedback, a promise he was willing to stand by “for the entirety of my career.”

Bungie does have a special blog planned for January 11th where it will outline its plans for upcoming content. Perhaps Eververse and its continued existence will be addressed there. However the community may respond, stay tuned for more information.
