Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris_02

Bungie has been on the backfoot ever since Destiny 2 released. Despite strong reviews from critics, hardcore fans have come to despise the game especially with its core changes to abilities, story-telling and the end-game. Throw in a bunch of controversies regarding Eververse, XP throttling and locking non-DLC owners out of activities and the developer certainly has its work cut out for it.

Game director Christopher Barrett, who works with the live team for post-launch support, has been promising new information though. On Twitter, he said that the development update coming next week would have “lots of good info” to share. Said update will be on January 11th which is the next big developer blog.

Will there be changes to Eververse in light of enormous fan backlash? Will the end-game be significantly expanded? Or will we simply hear about Masterwork Armour and nothing else? Time will tell but we’re interested in what Bungie has to say. Let us know what you think in the comments.
