Bungie’s Destiny 2 is a little more than a month old and while players expressed their euphoria over the new characters, open world activities and story, it quickly became apparent that the end-game was very lacklustre. Many significant developments from the previous game and its DLC are just missing in Destiny 2, which has prompted some backlash from the hardcore player base.
That being said, Bungie game director Christopher Barrett (who directed Destiny’s Rise of Iron DLC) is seeking feedback, especially when it comes to the first DLC. This is likely to be Curse of Osiris, which was leaked shortly after the game’s release and confirmed to be real.
Thus far, hardcore players have asked for more loot, ranked play, a more significant end-game for them to get invested in, private matches and so on. Whether any of these will actually make it into the expansion remains to be seen since it is rumoured to release in December.
