Destiny 2 Faction Rallies Return on December 12th

Curse of Osiris sucks? Forget that, we have useless factions to grind for!

Destiny 2 Faction Rally
Tone-deaf to criticism of its Curse of Osiris DLC, Bungie has announced that Faction Rallies will be returning to Destiny 2 on December 12th. This means that Dead Orbit, New Monarchy and Future War Cult will once again be in the Tower, vying for the attention of players. Pledge allegiance to a faction, earn enough Engrams by turning in Tokens and the faction with the most Engrams earned gets a special weapon.

Dead Orbit has a submachine gun this time around while New Monarchy has a Kinetic auto rifle and Future War Cult has an Energy Auto Rifle. The faction you pledge allegiance to, if it wins, will offer that weapon for 1,000 Glimmer. Everyone else has to buy it for 50,000 Glimmer.

The Faction Rally will last until December 19th for all platforms. If recent trends are any indication, it will likely be exclusive to those who own the Curse of Osiris DLC. In other news, today’s raid lair Eater of Worlds will be going live at 10 AM PST so stay tuned for more information.
