The second Faction Rally for Destiny 2 is now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and actually marks the first time that PC players can take part in the event. It will end on November 14th, 10 AM PST. The objective of Faction Rally is to pledge allegiance to a single faction in the Tower, turn in Tokens and the faction that earns the most rank-up packages wins.

What does this mean? It means that the winning faction’s players will receive its featured weapon for 1,000 Glimmer. However, whoever didn’t pledge to the winning faction will have to buy it for 50,000 Glimmer. The featured weapons include New Monarchy’s sword, Dead Orbit’s grenade launcher and Future War Cult’s fusion rifle.

It should be noted that you can earn gear and weapons from the first 30 rewards packages per character – everything else after that is just shaders. Token pay-outs have changed as well with Strikes now providing 5 to 9 Tokens per completion and Heroic Public Events now offer 5 Tokens. Lost Sectors must now be looted by opening the chest at the end rather than destroying enemy resources, thus providing 3 Tokens.
