Destiny 2 Faction Rally

Destiny 2’s Valentine’s Day-themed Crimson Days will be coming to a close on February 20th but players won’t have to wait long for the next event. Bungie announced in its latest weekly update that Faction Rally will be returning on February 20th at 9 AM PST. Thanks to the recent hotfix, players will no longer have any throttling or timers on their loot drops when farming Lost Sectors.

Of course, the difference this time is that you need to kill the Lost Sector boss to claim the loot drop. This is still a big improvement over being locked out for 10 minutes (which was later changed to five minutes).

As for the Faction Rally, there are new weapons to be had. Dead Orbit has a Linear Fusion Rifle, New Monarchy has a Scout Rifle and Future War Cult has a Handcannon. Those who pledge to a faction will need to earn rank-up packages to contribute to its scoring. The faction with the largest number of rank-up packages by the end of the event will obtain their specific weapon for 1,000 Glimmer. Everyone else can get the same weapon but for 50,000 Glimmer.
