Destiny 2 - Festival of the Lost 2023

Tis the season to be spooky, meaning Festival of the Lost is returning to Bungie’s Destiny 2. Starting this week, players can don masks and complete Haunted Sectors. The latest “This Week in Destiny” revealed that Legend Haunted Sectors will debut this year and have a higher chance to drop the new Eerie Engrams.

While you could open them as usual, Eva Levante has some new Hocus Focusing. Using an Eerie Engram and some Candy (the event currency), you can earn Festival of the Lost weapons and even Exotic armor pieces. You must own the Exotic’s expansion, but it doesn’t have to be acquired beforehand to unlock it.

This provides a unique opportunity to earn any missing Exotic, though they’ll be limited to the class you’re playing when using Hocus Focusing. If that weren’t enough, Eerie Engrams also drop a new Memento that bestows a sleek black look. Stay tuned for more details on the event when patch notes go live this week.
