Destiny 2 Year 2 reveal

Bungie has tweeted what seems to be the name of Destiny 2’s September expansion: “Forsaken“. This continues the trend of DLC being single word names following the recent Warmind. In the new teaser, we see players traveling to the Reef with Cayde-6, the roguish Hunter Vanguard voiced by Nathan Fillion.

The stream will take place on Twitch and YouTube at June 5th, 9 AM PST and Bungie is expected to reveal more than just the new expansion. We expect to see more information on loadout and weapon slot changes, random rolls, more Exotic armour changes and other quality of life features. Don’t be surprised if Forsaken only receives a teaser trailer without much gameplay footage – that could potentially be saved for E3 2018.

Destiny 2: Forsaken will be releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Aside from a return to the Reef, it will apparently contain a mode with a “whole new style of play” for the franchise and the first person shooter genre in general. Stay tuned for more information from the live-stream in good time.
