Destiny 2 (11)

Following many a big release, though perhaps a lot sooner than others, Bungie’s Destiny 2 will be receiving a free trial on November 28th. The contents of the free trial haven’t been confirmed though – is this the same as the beta that released prior to the game?

Regardless, you can try out the campaign and play PvP in the Crucible if you’re so inclined. All progress in the trial will carry over into the full release if you purchase it. Bungie is currently gearing up for its next livestream for the Curse of Osiris DLC and will showcase the gear that players can earn. We’ll also likely hear from Bungie’s Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy on updates to improve the non-existent end-game.

In the meantime, Destiny 2 is still reeling from an XP throttling controversy where the game offered diminishing returns if players earned XP too quickly. Unfortunately, it was only uncovered when players conducted their own research, likely to avoid further backlash.
